An off topic rant that will change your life (probably)

Hey everyone.

This edition is a little bit unusual and off-topic.

So bear with my tantrums for a few minutes.

For the past couple of days, I've been struggling to get into the daily writing habit. Partly so because I was overthinking about

  • What do I need to do keep up the habit?

  • How many words per day qualifies me as a writer?

  • What books should I read on writing?

  • Which tracks should I listen to get in the zone?

I know you've gone through this too.

Not neccessarily with writing, but with other things.

Overthinking is killing your aspirations every single day.

How do you kill it?

By minimising the options you have.

  • Write 500 words per day at minimum

  • Less books

  • Less podcasts

  • Less courses

The more options you have, the more anxious you will be.

There you go. There's your life lesson (if any) that I wanted to share with you.

I will be back next week with a new format, and some huge upgrades to my writing.

I'll see you then.
