Write like you're chatting with a chad..
Yo anon.
Ever wondered how to make your writing more conversational?
I call it the "Chat with Chad" approach.
Imagine you're writing to your buddy Chad.
You know, Chad.
The one who still owes you for that pizza from 2011.
When you're writing, you're not trying to impress Chad.
You're not trying to sound like Shakespeare or J.K. Rowling.
You're just trying to tell Chad about this cool thing you found, or share a funny story.
For example, you wouldn't write, "In the vast expanse of the cosmos, one finds oneself contemplating the profound mysteries of existence."
Nah.
You'd write, "Dude, space is crazy big. Like, seriously. Makes you think, right?"
It's simple, it's casual, it's you.
And here's the kicker:
Chad gets it. He understands what you're saying. He's engaged. He's interested.
Why?
Because you're not trying to be someone you're not. You're just being you. And Chad likes you.
So, the next time you sit down to write, don't try to impress the world. Just try to chat with Chad.
(And maybe remind him about that pizza he owes you.)
And that’s about it for today.
Hope you enjoyed reading this.
I’ll see you next time.
Cheers.
